D.C. in Whites

The white curtain closed and I looked

Coats and gloves walked and ice grew

One thousand flakes strong came down and then anew

A soft bed of foam arose and with glue

Visions of milk-drenched cotton in everything but stew

City of lights suited with gowns of frost and hue

Angelic stardust falling from the sky into our moon-lit brew

Oh IÕm in heaven and I never knew!
