Caribbean Rose

It was a beautiful Caribbean night when it all started:

A cosmic voyage of lights and stars
A rainbow of sweet chocolates and the like
A page inspired in gold and angels alike
The sweet aroma of red roses in late March

We carved it all in infinite faith
And today we opted to turn the page
The sculpture, however, will never fade
And the memories will forever live in spades

So, farewell for now; we will surely meet again
Maybe not tomorrow or the next day
And not even as lovers or as mates
But the day will come and we will dine 'til late

Ciao sweet rose, my sweet Caribbean friend!
